Aretha Franklin faleceu esta semana com 76 anos, vitima de cancro. O meu mano Daniel relembrou-me desta diva, de seu nome Tina Turner ou Anna Mae Bullock que com 78 nos está aí para as curvas, fazendo ver muitas miúdas de 20 anos. Relembrei com carinho e emoção o filme que retrata a vida dela, o seu percurso e violência domestica que sofreu por parte do marido, Ike. Recomendo que vejam. Eu vi-o quando tinha 18 anos e marcou-me mesmo muito.
Mrs Hot Legs é o verdadeiro exemplo de que o que não nos mata torna-nos mais fortes, uma verdadeira guerreira que eu admiro bastante. Uma Mulher com M grande que passou por muito mas se tornou numa mulher forte e corajosa, e não desistiu.
